XML Parser. XML Parser software was written with Visual Studio 2005 by Kit Na Goh, a MS student at the GIS TReC. This software takes ArcXML-based metadata documents and writes the information contained in these files into a fully relational database. The database is built upon the MS Access Jet Database engine and was designed using IBM Rational Rose UML modeling software. The database model and schema are available at for download. Prerequisites: This software was built and testing using Windows XP computers. It has not been tested on Vista or other operating systems. There is no support available for this software though help documentation is available as part of the application. Download this software (XMLParser.zip v.2.0, 1.4 MB) Once you have downloaded the ZIP file, you must extract this file on your hard drive. Then, to run the setup application, simply double-click the setup icon and follow the on-screen directions. Users should have administrator privileges to install this software. |
