Regional Geographic Initiative Project Date: September 28, 2000 poc_data.dbfThe poc_data dbase file contains 825 records with tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and trichloroethylene (TCE) concentrations for the City of Pocatello municipal and monitoring wells. The data source is water quality information provided by Fred Ostler in the Water Department at the City of Pocatello. The data was received in digital format to the Regional Geographic Initiative (RGI), and was restructured to the design of the RGI database, but was not validated. It was recommended to provide this data to RGI users, but in a separate table because the data was not provided to the RGI in its original form. Records in the data set referred to as "LDS Farm" were originally in the RGI database as "Hanking-2." Unable to identify why the well name was changed to "Hanking-2" we reverted back to the original name provided with the digital data. Please note that the sample data referred to as LDS Farm does not relate to a well record in the RGI database because the naming convention could not be differentiated from several other wells. If there are questions regarding the City of Pocatello water sample data, please contact the GIS Center or Fred Ostler at 234-6174.
