Setting the Temporal Threshold:

Temporal threshold refers to the minimum amount of TIME (proportion of observations) two individuals must be observed together to be considered associated. Any pair of individuals that do not demonstrate this association will be considered non-associated by Association Software.

As an example, if the temporal threshold has been set to 40%, and a pair of individuals have demonstrated spatial association for 50% of the total observations recorded, then this pair of individuals will be considered temporally associated. In contrast, if another pair of individuals have only been found together during 25% of all recorded locations, these individuals will not be considered temporally associated.
