Ballis-tec. Early in the 1990's, Ballis-tec was developed. It was one of the first --if not THE first-- software packages designed for shooting enthusiasts. Today it is free to all and contains a wealth of powerful tools. The latest version is release 6.0 which was completed in April of 2010. It is called CEP and it calculates Circular Error Probability for your group files. This is the same methods used by militaries across the world to determine the precision of their munitions. Prerequisites: This software was built and testing using Windows XP, Vista, and Win7 computers. There is no support available for this software though help documentation is available as part of the application (open the *.CHM file found in the installation directory). Once you have downloaded the ZIP file, you must extract this file on your hard drive. Then, to run the setup application, simply double-click the setup icon and follow the on-screen directions. Users should have administrator privileges to install this software. |
