Visiting Rangeland ScientistThe GIS TReC at Idaho State University would like to extend an invitation to scholars to join our research center for a period of 3-12 months. Candidates should have expertise in rangeland ecosystems (e.g., grasslands, savanna, taiga, veldt, steppe, pampas, pastures) and experience in the application of geo-spatial technologies within rangeland ecosystems. The scholar will work closely with geo-spatial rangeland scientists and staff at the GIS Training and Research Center and conduct collaborative research within our Rangeland Research program. Funding is avaialble to help cover travel costs and living expenses.The scholar would be expected to make one or more professional presentations during his/her stay.
